The adjectives of the first pose off are Distraught, righteous, and Nonchalant. Feel free to put any reference you used for the pose (thumbnails would be ideal).
As far as rendering goes, there are no preferences as of yet, so anything goes. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just choose a nice camera angle to display the pose. No lighting is required, just don't post a screen cap.
